Abstract:
The present invention is an electric heating device comprising: a radiation tube (12) made of high corrosion resistance metal; heater wires (14) disposed inside the radiation tube (12); a heater fixed shaft (16), the surface of which is covered by an insulator, and which is disposed on the center axial line of the radiation tube (12); and a disk-shaped ceramic insulator (18) which is attached to the heater fixed shaft (16) at a predetermined interval and supports the heater wires (14), the electric heating device being characterized in that a protective sheet (20) made of high heat resistance metal is layered on an inner surface of the radiation tube (12), and a portion of the protective sheet (20) layered on an inner peripheral surface (12a) of the radiation tube (12) is formed in a cylindrical shape which winds the protective sheet (20) and which sets at least one among a first end side (20a) and a second end side (20b) forming a pair therewith in the winding direction to be a free state.
