The present invention provides an electric hoist having a protection button. The electric hoist is a mechanical hoisting device. The present invention solves the problems that protection devices in existing electric hoists are single in structure, and high-strength damage to a machine is caused due to the fact that a lifting hook probably rushes to the top and impacts the electric hoist under a seriously improper operation. The electric hoist having the protection button comprises a motor, a speed reducer, a guide frame, a chain barrel, a chain, a lifting hook, a handle switch assembly, a housing, and a controller mounted in the housing; one end of the chain passes through and out of the guide frame and is connected to the lifting hook, and the other end of the chain is placed in the chain barrel; a first electronic limiting button and a second electronic limiting button are arranged at the positions of the housing close to the guide frame; the end of the chain connected to the lifting hook is sleeved with a first electronic limiting member; and the end of the chain connected to the chain barrel is sleeved with a second electronic limiting member. The present invention has the advantages of being simple in structure and convenient to operate, and having a good protection effect on the electric hoist.
