Abstract:
The invention relates to an electric household appliance for food preparation, comprising a working bowl (1), an intermediate safety cover (3) and an upper case (4) which houses a motor that is associated with control means. The aforementioned control means comprise a switch which can be actuated by a detection member (43) that is mounted such as to move between a lowered position and a raised position against a return means (46). According to the invention, the intermediate safety cover (3) comprises a floating shim (5) which rests on the working bowl (1) such that it can move the detection member (43) into the raised position.
