Abstract:
This electric motor is provided with a rotor and a stator for rotating the rotor, wherein the stator is configured by magnetically connecting a plurality of divided stator blocks 21 and further the divided stator blocks have a configuration formed by folding and laminating a plurality of continuously connected stator sheets 24 so as to integrally have a yoke portion 22 and a tooth portion 23. This can eliminate a cumbersome and time-consuming process in which, when the stator sheets 24 are laminated, the scattered indivisual stator sheets are laminated by aligning the shape thereof, thereby significantly simplifying a laminating process to reduce manufacturing cost and providing an inexpensive electric motor and a compressor using the electric motor.
