Title:
FLAME-PROOF POLYPHENYLENE ETHER MOLDED BODY AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING FLAME-PROOF POLYPHENYLENE ETHER MOLDED BODY
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2021/111707
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide: a flame-proof polyphenylene ether molded body that is imparted with flame resistance, heat resistance and higher flame retardancy; and a method for producing a flame-proof polyphenylene ether molded body. The present invention relates to a flame-proof polyphenylene ether molded body which is characterized in that the absorbance height ratio of the absorbance height A at a wavenumber of 1,732 cm-1 derived from C=O stretching vibration to the absorbance height B at a wavelength 1,600 cm-1 derived from framework vibration due to stretching and contracting between carbon atoms in a benzene ring as determined by infrared spectroscopy, namely the absorbance height ratio A/B is 0.42 or more.
