Abstract:
An electric motor (10) that comprises a stator core (14) with an exposed outer surface (14a) has: a housing (16) that is connected to both end faces (14b, 14c) of the stator core (14) and covers both end faces (14b, 14c); and a gasket (18) between the stator core (14) and the housing (16). The gasket (18) has: a plurality of through-holes (38) through which pass a plurality of coupling members (26) that couple the stator core (14) and the housing (16) together; and a ring-shaped bead (36) formed outside the plurality of through-holes (38) with respect to the radial direction of the rotor core (12).
