Abstract:
An electric power unit (1) is constituted by housing an electric motor (10) in a motor housing portion (Sm) formed in a housing (2), housing an inverter in an inverter housing portion (Si) formed on an upper portion of the housing (2), and covering the upper surface opening portion of the inverter housing portion (Si) with a plate-shaped inverter cover (5). On the upper surface of the inverter cover (5), a first region (S1), a second region (S2), and a third region (S3) sandwiched between the first region (S1) and the second region (S2) are formed. A first connection portion (51a) and second connection portions (51a, 51b) are disposed in the first region (S1) and the second region (S2), respectively. A plurality of ribs (6, 7) are installed in the third region (S3) side by side in parallel with each other. The first rib (6), one end portion of which in the longitudinal direction is connected to the first connection portion (51a) and the second ribs (7) connected to the second connection portions (51b, 51c) are disposed in the side-by-side installation direction of the first rib (6) and the second ribs (7).
