Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide an electric vacuum cleaner that is a stick vacuum cleaner from which a handheld vacuum cleaner can be separated and that achieves increased usability. An electric vacuum cleaner 100 according to the present invention comprises: a stick body 101 that connects to a stick handle 102 and a suction port body; and a handheld body 201 that is detachably attached to an open part formed in the stick body 101. The handheld body 201 includes: an electric air blower 207 for generating suction force; a dust collection part 206 for containing dust that has flowed in from the suction port body 103 due to the suction force of the electric air blower 207; and a suction pipe 202 for providing communication between the dust collection part 206 and the suction port body 103.
