Abstract:
A ventilator (30) comprises: a first flow path (P1) that connects a first inflow/outflow port (E1) on the outdoor side and a second inflow/outflow port (E2) on the indoor side; and a fan (34), an absorbent material (33), and a heater (32) that are each disposed in the first flow path (P1). The fan (34) can change between a first rotation direction (X1) for generating air flow from outside a room to inside the room and a second rotation direction (X2) for generating air flow from inside the room to outside the room. The ventilator (30) performs humidification operation, in which the heater (32) heats outdoor air and the heated outdoor air takes moisture from the absorbent material (33) and goes to the interior of the room, and discharge ventilation operation, in which indoor air goes to the outside of the room, among a plurality of operation modes. In the humidification operation, the fan (34) rotates in the first rotation direction (X1), and in the discharge ventilation operation, the fan (34) rotates in the second rotation direction (X2).
