Abstract:
This electric wire protecting component comprises an exterior member (10) that protects an electric wire (We) therein. The exterior member (10) has: a tubular section (11) which is formed in a tubular shape and through which the electric wire (We) is inserted; and at least a set of protrusion groups (12A) which are a collection of a plurality of protrusion sections (12) which protrude from the outer circumferential wall of the tubular section (11) at the same position in the axial line of the tubular section (11) and which cause an inner space to communicate with the inside of the tubular section (11), wherein at least one of the plurality of protrusion sections (12) in the protrusion groups (12A) has an opening (12a) that causes the inner space to be open toward the outside.
