Abstract:
This electrical circuit breaker comprises: a housing that includes an accommodation space extending in one direction and serves as an outer shell member; an ignition device provided to the housing; a projectile that is disposed in the housing, and is launched from an end side of the accommodation space by energy received from the ignition device, to move in the extension direction of the accommodation space; a conductor piece that is held by the housing, that forms a portion of an electrical circuit, and that has, at a location between a first connection end portion and a second connection end portion, a cut portion that is to be cut due to movement of the projectile and that is disposed across the accommodation space. A region of the accommodation space defined by an inner wall of the housing holding the conductor piece is a holding region. The housing has a housing body including the holding region. The housing body has an upper surface located on the ignition device side, a lower surface located on the movement destination side of the projectile, and a slit portion that is a recess provided in at least one of the upper surface and the lower surface.
