Abstract:
An electrical connector, comprising: a conductive mechanism (11), a connection apparatus (12), an insulation shell (20) and a current detection apparatus (30), wherein the current detection apparatus (30) comprises a current sensor (31) and a signal connection apparatus (34); the conductive mechanism (11) is arranged in the insulation shell (20), and a part of the connection apparatus (12) is located in the insulation shell (20) and is electrically connected to the conductive mechanism (11); the current detection apparatus (30) is mounted on the insulation shell (20); and the signal connection apparatus (34) is electrically connected to the current sensor (31) so as to transmit a detection signal of the current sensor (31). The technical problem of the safety of vehicles being affected because an electrical connector of a new energy vehicle is prone to damage due to an overcurrent is solved.
