Abstract:
The objective of the present invention is to provide an electricity supply device that can effect greater compactness while causing an electrical wire to bend in a predetermined shape by imparting an appropriate biasing force to the electrical wire. The electricity supply device (1) is provided with: a pivoting/holding member (3) to which a sliding door is provided in a manner able to pivot in the horizontal direction and that has a lead-in opening (3a), through which an electrical wire (10), of which one end is connected to a vehicle body, is led in horizontally, and a lead-out opening (3b), which interconnects to the lead-in opening and that leads out the other end of the electrical wire upwards; and a biasing member (5) that biases the pivoting/holding member in a predetermined pivoting direction. The electrical wire has: a bend (10A) that bends in an L-shape between the lead-in opening and the lead-out opening; and a lead-out section (10C) that is routed at the lead-out opening side of the bend. In the state of the sliding door being provided to a closed position (S1), the lead-out section is provided in an untwisted natural state or in a state of being twisted in a manner so as to generate a restoring force in the same direction as the biasing direction of the biasing member.
