Abstract:
This electrochemical device comprises: a first electrode; a second electrode; a separator interposed between the first electrode and the second electrode; an electrolytic solution; a lead terminal electrically connected to one of the first electrode and the second electrode; and a protection tape that covers the lead terminal. One of the electrodes comprises a current collector foil 20 and a mixture layer 21 provided to the current collector foil. The current collector foil 20 is provided with a first region 20A covered by the mixture layer 21, and a second region 20B which is not covered by the mixture layer 21 and in which the surface of the current collector foil 20 is exposed. The protection tape 24a is adhered to the lead terminal 5a provided in the second region 20B of the current collector foil, and is adhered to at least a part of a third region 20C which is a part of the second region and which is not covered by the lead terminal 5a.
