Abstract:
An electrochemical sensor comprising a substrate 11, a sensor electrode 12 that is a chip, a base part 16 that is provided together with the sensor electrode 12, and a cover member 15 that is disposed so as to cover the sensor electrode 12, wherein the reverse surface of the sensor electrode 12 from the surface facing a sensor mounting surface 11a functions as a detection surface 12f for detecting a specific component of a test solution, the base part 16 has a touching surface 16a disposed such that the height position of the same from the sensor mounting surface 11a is flush with the detection surface 12f, the position of the cover member 15 is fixed as a result of the cover member 15 touching the detection surface 12f and touching surface 16a, and the cover member 15 has an opening 15a that exposes a partial region of the detection surface 12f when the position of the cover member 15 is fixed.
