Abstract:
The present invention relates to an electrochromic device driving control apparatus and method and, particularly, to an electrochromic device driving control apparatus and method that can control driving of an electrochromic device by quickly identifying external environmental conditions through measuring of the electrical characteristics of a test device having the same material and structure as the electrochromic device. An electrochromic device driving control apparatus, according to one embodiment of the present invention, which is an apparatus for controlling driving of an electrochromic device by measuring the electrical characteristics of a test device, comprises: a data storage unit that stores data in which changes in electrical characteristics of each of the electrochromic device and a test device are matched according to external environmental conditions; a sensing unit that measures the electrical characteristics of the test device; and a control unit that analyzes the external environmental conditions from the electrical characteristics of the test device measured by the sensing unit, and adjusts the magnitude or voltage application time of a driving voltage applied to the electrochromic device.
