Abstract:
The present invention relates to an electrode assembly and a method for manufacturing the electrode assembly, which allow tabs of a multi-tab electrode assembly to be aligned with each other. In addition, the present invention comprises: a lamination step for forming an electrode laminate by repeatedly laminating a structure in which a negative electrode having an electrode tab, a positive electrode having an electrode tab, and a separator interposed therebetween are laminated; an electrode tab joining step for joining at least two of electrode tabs of the electrode laminate such that electrode tabs having the same polarity are joined with each other; and a winding step for winding the electrode laminate.
