Abstract:
Provided is a novel electrode which is for a power storage device and easily mass-produced and with which the performance of a power storage device using carbon as an active material can be enhanced. This electrode for a power storage device comprises: a metal substrate constituting a current collector; and an active material layer formed on the surface of the metal substrate and containing carbon as an active material. The surface of the active material layer has a fine uneven structure in which a plurality of minute granular materials are densely arranged, and carbon nanostructures, which are composed of graphene that extends in an elongated shape outward from the granular materials, are arranged over the entire surface layer of the granular materials.
