Abstract:
This light-emitting element (1) comprises: a positive electrode (12); a QD layer (15) that contains QDs; and a negative electrode (17). The QDs are Cd-free quantum dots that have a core-shell structure including a core that contains at least one of Ag, Ga, S, and Se, and a shell that contains at least Zn. The QDs exhibit a fluorescence quantum yield of at least 70% at a fluorescence half width of 40 nm or less.
