Abstract:
Provided are an electrolyte for a lithium secondary battery and a lithium secondary battery comprising same, the electrolyte comprising a non-aqueous organic solvent, a lithium salt, and an additive, wherein the additive is a composition comprising a first compound and a second compound, the first compound is a cesium compound, and the second compound is represented by chemical formula 1A or chemical formula 1B. The details of chemical formulas 1A and 1B are the same as described in the specification.
