This electrolytic capacitor 1 comprises: a cuboid-shaped resin molded body 9 including a laminated body 30 having a capacitor element 20 including a positive electrode 3 having a dielectric layer 5 on the surface thereof, and a negative electrode 7 facing the positive electrode 3, and a sealing resin 8 for sealing the periphery of the laminated body 30; a first external electrode 11 provided on a first end face 9a of the resin molded body 9 and electrically connected to the positive electrode 3 exposed from the first end face 9a; and a second external electrode 13 provided on a second end face 9b of the resin molded body 9 and electrically connected to the negative electrode 7 exposed from the second end face 9b, wherein the first external electrode 11 includes, in order from the first end face 9a-side of the resin molded body 9, a first thermal-sprayed electrode layer 11a, and a second thermal-sprayed electrode layer 11b which is in contact with the first thermal-sprayed electrode layer 11a and has a higher void ratio than the first thermal-sprayed electrode layer 11a.
