Abstract:
[Problem] To provide an electromagnetic clutch capable of suppressing fluctuations in a load acting on a rotor bearing, and also suppressing the transmission of internal vibrations from a driven apparatus to the housing of the driven apparatus. [Solution] An electromagnetic clutch (1) includes: a rotor (2) that is rotatably driven by the motive power of a drive source, and is rotatably attached to a housing (51) of a driven apparatus (50) via a bearing (10); a hub (3) that is affixed to a drive shaft (52) of the driven apparatus (50); an armature plate (4) that is connected to the hub (3) by a connecting member (5), and positioned so as to have a gap (g2) interposed between the armature plate (4) and the rotor (2); and an electromagnet (6) that magnetically draws the armature plate (4) toward the rotor (2). The connecting member (5) is formed from an elastic wire.
