Abstract:
An electromagnetic relay according to the present disclosure has: an excitation coil (12) for generating a magnetic field when an electrical current passes through the coil; a movable core (16) driven by the magnetic field generated by the excitation coil; a movable element (22) having a movable contact (25) and operating in compliance with the movable core; a plurality of fixed terminals (26, 28) respectively having fixed contacts (27, 29) that come into contact with the movable contact when an electrical current passes through the excitation coil; fixed yokes (31, 31A, 31B) that are formed from a magnetic body and that are supported by at least one of the plurality of fixed terminals; and moving yokes (30, 30A, 30B) that are formed from a magnetic body, that are arranged facing the fixed yokes, that come into contact with the movable element, and that operate integrally with the movable element. By supporting the fixed yokes with the fixed terminals, it is possible to suppress the fixed terminals from becoming high in temperature.
