Abstract:
A power conversion device having a compressor as a load is provided with a compensation current output unit (80) for supplying compensation current (Ic) that compensates for leaked current (Ia). A control unit (50) receives the detection signal of a rotational speed sensor (55) that detects the rotational speed of the compressor (CM). When the rotational speed rises to a set rotational speed at which the leaked current (Ia) is equal to or less than a limit value (Lmax) therefor (a limit value defined, for example, by the Electrical Appliance and Material Safety Law (PSE) or the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC)) while the compensation current output unit (80) is not operating, the compensation current output unit (80) is switched from an operating state to a stopped state. As a result, it is possible to reduce leaked current from the compressor with little power loss.
