Abstract:
An electromagnetic wave receiver (100) that comprises: an electromagnetic wave reception part (10) that receives inputted electromagnetic waves (W); and a signal generation part (51) that uses the behavior of the current flowing in or the voltage applied to the electromagnetic wave reception part (10) to generate a direct-current electrical signal or an electrical signal that has a lower frequency than the inputted electromagnetic waves (W). The electromagnetic wave reception part (10) of the electromagnetic wave receiver (100) has: an electromagnetic wave input part (11) that inputs electromagnetic waves (W); a cavity resonance part (2) that is provided to a conductor plate (1); a current supply part (3) that supplies current that is for amplification to the cavity resonance part (2); and a magnetic field application part (9) that is arranged on one side of the conductor plate (1) and applies a magnetic field (B) to the cavity resonance part (2).
