Abstract:
This electron beam generator comprises: an electron release unit that extends along a desired axis and releases electrons; a support unit that is electrically connected to a power feed device that feeds power to the electron release unit; a tension maintaining unit that is connected between one end section of the electron release unit and the support unit and that maintains the tension of the electron release unit through pressing force or pulling force; and a power feed route unit, one end section of which is electrically connected to the support unit and another end section of which is electrically connected to the one end section of the electron release unit. The electrical resistance of the tension maintaining unit is greater than the electrical resistance of the power feed route unit.
