Abstract:
An electronic cigarette comprises a cigarette rod (10) and a cartridge (20). The cigarette rod (10) is used for supplying power to the cartridge (20). Before supplying power, the cigarette rod (10) needs to first authenticate the cartridge (20), and only after the authentication is passed, can subsequent power supply to the cartridge (20) be performed by means of the cigarette rod (10) to enter a normal use process; and if the authentication is not passed, the cigarette rod (10) no longer supplies power to the cartridge (20), such that the electronic cigarette cannot be normally used.
