Abstract:
The present application discloses an envelope detection photon millimeter wave terahertz communication system and method. The system comprises: an optical transmitter, which generates a polarization-multiplexed optical twinning single-sideband vector signal without a carrier; an optical wireless conversion module, which is used for performing carrier coupling and optical heterodyne beat frequency on polarization multiplexed signals of left and right sidebands of the optical twinning single-sideband vector signal after optical fiber transmission, and generating millimeter wave terahertz single-sideband vector signals on X and Y polarization; and a wireless receiving module, which is used for performing down-conversion, vector reconstruction and polarization crosstalk elimination and demodulation on the millimeter wave terahertz single-sideband vector signals on the X and Y polarization of the left and right sidebands by means of an envelope detection direct detection mode to obtain X and Y polarization signals of the left and right sidebands.
