Abstract:
According to one embodiment of the present document, an electronic device may comprise a housing, an antenna structure positioned in the inner space of the housing, and a dielectric structure positioned in the inner space of the housing. The housing provides the exterior of the electronic device and can include a conductive portion and a non-conductive portion connected to the conductive portion. The antenna structure can include a printed circuit board and at least one antenna element. The printed circuit board can include a first surface oriented toward the non-conductive portion, and a second surface oriented toward the opposite direction of the first surface. The at least one antenna element can be positioned on the first surface or positioned inside the printed circuit so as to be closer to the first surface than to the second surface. The at least one antenna element can be configured to form a beam oriented in the non-conductive portion. The dielectric structure can be positioned to face the at least one antenna element in correspondence to the non-conductive portion. When the cross section of a plane vertical to the direction in which the first surface is oriented is viewed, the dielectric structure can include a first dielectric having a first dielectric permittivity, and a second dielectric having a second dielectric permittivity different from the first dielectric permittivity and encompassing the first dielectric. Other various embodiments are possible.
