Abstract:

An electronic device control method and an electronic device. Said method comprises: upon reception of a first touch operation on a first touch region, an electronic device determining, according to a first mapping relationship, a second coordinate having a mapping relationship with a first coordinate of the first touch operation, the second coordinate being located in a second touch region; and the electronic device performing a response corresponding to the second coordinate. Touching the first touch region enables the electronic device to execute the function to be executed when the second touch region is touched, thereby touching the first touch region instead of touching the second touch region, reducing the blockage to the second touch region. With the method, there is no need to additionally provide a gamepad for an electronic device, solving the problem existing in the prior art of high costs caused by providing a gamepad, thereby avoiding the problem of inconvenience for carrying a provided gamepad.
