Abstract:
An electronic device (142; 1301) according to an embodiment may comprise: one or more wireless communication modules (1392) configured to transmit and receive a wireless signal; one or more processors (1320) operatively connected to the wireless communication modules (1392); and a memory (1330) which is electrically connected to the processors (1320) and includes instructions executable by the processors (1320). When the instructions are executed by the processors (1320), the processors (1320) may perform a plurality of operations. The plurality of operations may include an operation for, on the basis of first channel state information between the electronic device (142; 1301) and a first external electronic device (120) connected thereto, sensing an event having occurred in a space within coverage of the first external electronic device (120). The plurality of operations may include an operation for estimating a position at which the event has occurred, on the basis of second channel state information between the first external electronic device (120) and one or more second external electronic devices (144) connected thereto. Various other embodiments may be possible.
