Abstract:
An electronic device according to an embodiment of the present document may comprise: a memory; a first camera module and a second camera module; and a processor operatively connected to the memory, the first camera module, and the second camera module, wherein the processor: performs video shooting by using the first camera module; acquires a request to capture a still image during the video shooting; acquires at least one frame by using the second camera module when it is determined, in response to the request to capture a still image, that improvement of the quality of an image is needed; and generates a still image corresponding to the request to capture a still image, on the basis of a frame acquired using the first camera module and the at least one frame acquired using the second camera module during the video shooting. According to various embodiments of the present document, by using the capability of exposure configuration for each of multiple camera modules, video shooting can be performed by differently configuring two or more camera modules during the video shooting, and multiple captured images can be efficiently used through multi-frame composition, so that a photograph having enhanced quality can be obtained without influence on a video.
