Abstract:
An electronic device comprises: a receiver (501) for receiving inrush current information representing an inrush current transmitted from another electronic device when activating that other electronic device; an inrush current acquisition unit (502) for acquiring an inrush current when activating the host electronic device; an inrush current totaling unit (503) for totaling the inrush current when activating another electronic device and the inrush current when activating the host electronic device; a time determination unit (504) for determining times when activating the host electronic device and another electronic device on the basis of the total value of the inrush currents into the host electronic device and another electronic device and a current reference value representing the value of a simultaneously applicable current; and a transmitter (505) for transmitting power-on time information to another electronic device, the power-on time information representing the time determined.
