Abstract:
Provided are an electronic device and a system with which it is possible to easily create an IoT system. According to an embodiment, the electronic device communicates with a second electronic device in which a specific application and a first communication application are installed. The electronic device does not have the specific application installed therein, but does have a non-specific application and a second communication application installed therein. The second communication application is capable of communicating with the first communication application. The electronic device broadcasts a beacon by execution of the second communication application. The beacon includes identification information pertaining to a user of the electronic device, identification information pertaining to the non-specific application, and information issued from the non-specific application to the specific application.
