Abstract:
According to various embodiments, provided may be an electronic device comprising: a coil; an inverter configured to provide power to the coil; a power providing circuit configured to provide a voltage for driving the inverter; a communication circuit configured to perform communication with a wireless power reception device; and a control circuit, wherein the control circuit is configured to: control the power providing circuit such that a first voltage is applied to an input terminal of the inverter, wherein the inverter outputs power having a first magnitude on the basis of application of the first voltage; on the basis that the application of the first voltage is maintained for a period of time, control the power providing circuit so that a second voltage lower than the first voltage is applied to the input terminal of the inverter; during application of the second voltage, identify a first control error packet from the wireless power reception device through the communication circuit; and identify a first value included in the first control error packet.
