The present application provides an electronic device, comprising a housing, a first loudspeaker, and a second loudspeaker, wherein the first loudspeaker and the second loudspeaker can be driven to emit sounds, which have the same vibration amplitude and opposite phases, thereby forming a dipole sound source; and the housing is internally provided with a first sound output channel and a second sound output channel, which are respectively in communication with the first loudspeaker and the second loudspeaker, and a surface of the housing is provided with a first sound outlet and a second sound outlet, which are respectively in communication with the first sound output channel and the second sound output channel. The electronic device provided in the embodiments of the present application controls the two loudspeakers to emit sounds, which have the same vibration amplitude and opposite phases, through the independent sound output channels, so as to form a dipole sound source; and anti-phase sound field superposition is generated at a far field of the electronic device, so as to reduce the loudness and clarity of the sounds, thereby making it impossible for other people at the far field of the electronic device to hear a call sound clearly, and thus realizing the privacy of a call.
