Abstract:
An electronic mirror device having a display unit, a control unit for controlling the display unit, a switching unit, and a preliminary startup unit. The display unit includes a body case having an opening, an image display unit, and a half mirror. The image display unit has a display surface, and displays a camera image captured by the camera. The half mirror displays a mirror-reflected image, and is positioned between the opening in the body case and the display surface of the image display unit. The switching unit switches the display on the display unit between the camera image and the mirror-reflected image. The preliminary startup unit preliminarily starts up the control unit and the display unit before the switching unit displays the camera image on the display unit.
