Abstract:
When no response is received after amount-of-money information is transmitted to a money terminal, it is cheeked if the money terminal has performed amount-of-money change processing. An electronic money terminal (8) reads the value balance before transmission of amount-of-money change information from an electronic money card (6) and stores it. Thereafter, the electronic money terminal (8) transmits the amount-of-money change information to the electronic money card (6). The electronic money terminal (8) waits for a response from the electronic money card (6) for a predetermined time. If no response comes, the electronic money terminal (8) forcedly reads the current value balance of the electronic money card (6). The electronic money terminal (8) compares this value balance with the value balance read before the transmission of the amount-of-money change information. If they agree with each other, it is judged that the electronic money card (6) has not executed the amount-of-money information. If they are different, it is judged that the electronic money card (6) has executed the amount-of-money information.
