Abstract:
The present invention prevents leak of personal information and makes it possible to deliver receipt information directly to a consumer. An electronic receipt system according to one embodiment of the present invention comprises: a code issuing server (1) which issues a code in response to a request from a portable terminal M owned by a consumer and which then transmits the issued code to the portable terminal M; a POS terminal (2) that reads a code being displayed on a screen of the portable terminal M when a transaction regarding an object to be issued an electronic receipt is to be processed, transmits said code to the code issuing server (1) for inquiry thereof, and associates, upon confirmation that said code has been issued by the code issuing server (1), the code with electronic receipt information generated during the execution of transaction processing; and an electronic receipt management server (3) which stores therein the electronic receipt information and the code associated with each other and received from the POS terminal (2), and, when the code is transmitted from the portable terminal M, transmits the electronic receipt information associated with said code to the portable terminal.
