Abstract:
Provided is an electrostatic input device capable of accurately specifying the movement direction and movement amount of a detection object. This electrostatic input device comprises: a first electrode having a plurality of first electrode parts disposed at intervals along a prescribed direction; and a second electrode having a plurality of second electrode parts alternately arranged with the plurality of first electrode parts along the prescribed direction. The areas of the plurality of first electrode parts decrease in the prescribed direction and the areas of the plurality of second electrode parts increase in the prescribed direction.
