Abstract:
An elevator car compartment is provided with a car compartment body having car compartment walls and a ceiling which is provided at the upper part of the car compartment body. The ceiling has a first canopy section, a second canopy section which is provided below the first canopy section, and a suspended ceiling section provided below the second canopy section. A lighting device is mounted to the suspended ceiling section. The ceiling is formed in a double structure by disposing the first canopy section and the second canopy section with a vertical spacing therebetween.
