Abstract:
Touch panels are being used increasingly in control panels that are provided in elevator cars or landings for users to register destination floors. However touch panels are operated by pressing or touching a flat surface and thus offer poor operational feedback. An operation switch according to the present invention includes: a key top comprising a top surface having a display character formed thereon and a substrate having a front surface and back surface on which conductive layers are formed insulated from each other; and an electrical continuity means for establishing electrical continuity between the conductive layers. Thus, the operation switch of the present invention, while being a touch-type switch, allows operational feedback to be felt.
