Abstract:
Provided is a notification system which, even when a user attempts to access a file that has already been opened by another user, facilitates the attempting user's communication with the other user and allows the attempting user to select whether to communicate with the other user or to perform work later. The notification system according to the present invention, which operates in cooperation with an entry/exit management system, is characterized by being provided with: a reading means which reads identification information about a second user's mobile terminal, or location information about the second user's mobile terminal authenticated by the entry/exit management system, if a first user uses a first terminal to attempt to access a file that has been opened by the second user using a second terminal; and a notification means which notifies the first terminal of the identification information or the location information read by the reading means, if the file has been opened by the second user using the second terminal.
