Abstract:
A renovation method for renovating a hydraulic elevator, for which a hydraulic jack is installed in an equipment installation region that is a region on either the right or left side of a car in the elevator shaft, to a 2:1 roping system machine room-less elevator, wherein at least one of a pair of counterweight guide rails is installed in the equipment installation region where the hydraulic jack is left, the hydraulic jack is removed from the elevator shaft, a hoisting machine is installed at the bottom of the equipment installation region by using the space after removal of the hydraulic jack, and a car return pulley and a counterweight return pulley are installed at the top of the counterweight guide rail.
