Abstract:
Provided is an elevator system that is able to prevent congestion of a landing at a through floor. This elevator system comprises: an elevator car provided with two doorways; a first car door provided in one doorway of the two doorways; a second car door provided in the other doorway of the two doorways; and a control device for controlling the opening/closing operations of the first car door and the second car door. When it is determined that a first landing corresponding to the first car door at a through floor is more congested than a second landing corresponding to the second car door at the through floor, the control device sets the second car door as the car door to open first at the through floor.
