Abstract:
An emulator capable of targeting a device to which an expansion device for expanding a
controller connection port to controller connection ports can be connected. The
emulator emulates the operation of a targeted device which has at least one controller
connection port to which controllers are connectable and to which an expansion
device for expanding the at least one controller connection port to controller
connection ports can be connected. Port identification information prescribing
which controller connection port of the targeted device or one of the controller
connection ports of the expansion device connected to the targeted device is
allotted. This allotted port identification information is used for processing
of receiving an operation through the controller.
