Abstract:
Provided is an endodermal cell production method with which it is possible to induce endodermal cells from scattered pluripotent cells, and increase endodermal cell preparation efficiency. This endodermal cell production method produces endodermal cells by inducing the endodermal cells from pluripotent cells, said method comprising an induction step for inducing the endodermal cells from the pluripotent cells in the presence of an endodermal-cell inducing factor, wherein at the induction step, the cell density of the pluripotent cells at the start of induction is preferably 0.5×104 to 2×104 cells/cm2.
