Abstract:
This endoscope device includes a light source unit (100), an imaging unit (200), and a processing unit (310). The light source unit (100) emits, as illumination light, light of a plurality of wavelength bands including a first wavelength band in which the absorbance of hemoglobin is smaller than that in the green band. The imaging unit (200) images light returning from an organism irradiated by the illumination light, and outputs an imaging signal. The processing unit (310) acquires a first image of light of the first wavelength band from the imaging signal and detects recess/projection formation information of a mucosa from the first image. The processing unit (310) generates a display image by highlighting formation of recesses and projections on the mucosa in a captured image based on the imaging signal on the basis of the recess/projection formation information.
