Abstract:
An endoscope system with a disposable sheath consists of a reusable endoscope (1) and a disposable sheath. The sheath comprises a cover (8), an end cup (2), and a disposable tube (3) arranged in the endoscope conduit (10). The cover (8) and the disposable tube (3) join to each other by the end cup (2). There are a water tube (4) and a nozzle tube (5) between the endoscope (1) and the cover (8). The proximal end of the disposable tube (3) passes through the endoscope conduit (10) and is put into the sealing cap (12) by a guide tube (17). This endoscope system aims at avoiding cross infection.
