Abstract:
This endoscope (1) is provided with: an imaging unit (10) having an incident surface (10SA); a distal end body (20) which has an insertion hole (H10) in the front surface (20SA) thereof and in which the incident surface (10SA) of the imaging unit (10) inserted into the insertion hole (H10) protrudes from the front surface (20SA); and a distal end cover (30) which covers the surrounding of the insertion hole (H10) of the distal end body (20) and in which the incident surface (10SA) protrudes from an opening of a distal end surface (30SA). The distal end cover (30) and the imaging unit (10) are adhered by using a first adhesive (41) containing 10-60 mass% of first calcium carbonate particles, and a stepped portion in a boudnary between the distal end surface (30SA) of the distal end cover (30) and the incident surface (10SA) of the imaging unit (10) is covered with a second adhesive (42) containing 10-60 mass% of first silicon oxide particles.
